These are my photos from a guided family tour of Sutro Tunnel that was a lot of fun.
These are not professional photos and were taken with a new Samsung Ultra 22. It was my first use of the new camera, and it took some getting used to.
None of the photos are edited. If you find a photo you like and would like it edited (straightened, noise removed, lighter/darker, finger removed :-), etc.), please email me at
[email protected] and I'll see if I have the time to edit one for you.
Prints and downloads are
not available, so as not to interfere with the Friends of Sutro Tunnel's own efforts to raise money for this important historic undertaking.
If you would like to use any of these photos on social media, please do so. If you do, please include the credit: © Glenn Franco Simmons. Friends of Sutro Tunnel may use the photos without the photo credit for any use, if the photos are deemed worth.
If you are interested in touring the Sutro Tunnel site with its various buildings, visit
Friends of Sutro Tunnel's website or its
Facebook page.
Please do not attempt to visit the site on your own. There is a gate with security cameras and it is private property. It is quite easy to set up a tour of the site for a modest fee that is more than worth it.
