American Wash is located between Virginia City and Carson City, Nev. At one time, Virginia City was the wealthiest city in the world. It also helped the Union win the The Civil War, thanks to the silver that was mined in the city. This photo of an abandoned building was taken south of Silver City near Pedlar Road.
