This 1969 ISO Grifo Series II Targa is one of four models existing. It was photographed at the 2011 Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance.

“This 9,200-mile Grifo is a number machine example with limited restoration,” states an owner’s summary. “{It} is in near perfect condition.”

The Series II Grifo differs from the Series I in that it has covered headlights and an extended hood. Only four of these Targas were manufactured.”

At the time of the photograph, at least two of the others were in Europe.

“This Grifo is powered by a 300 hp Corvette V-8 engine and a 5-speed ZF gearbox,” the summary notes. “The car’s overall height is 48 inches.”

It has four-wheel disc brakes.

“The car was designed by Giotto Bizzarrini, who designed the Ferrari 250 GTO, Lamborghini Mura, and the Bizzarrini 5300 Strata.”
