Osprey Observed Along Carson River
Carson River OspreyAn osprey above the Carson River in April 2023. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. I only had my smartphone and not pro gear and my hands shake, due to asthma spray.
While recently walking along Empire Ranch Trail to the Empire Mill boat access, among the birds I saw were two osprey; however, I only had my smartphone and not professional camera or lenses to photograph the beautiful osprey.
Other birds I saw were yellow-headed blackbirds, red-tailed blackbirds, Canadian geese, ducks of different kinds, Virginia Rail, Loggerhead Shrike, Northern Mockingbird, Western Bluebird and Western Meadowlark.
