Bright Tulips A Reminder That Spring Is Here
TulipsTulips of all sizes and colors are an awesome way to celebrate spring. 
When I was a professional floral photographer in Cupertino, I took many photos at the region's gardens, from The Dahlia Garden in Golden Gate Park to the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden. This bright and cheerful tulip photo was taken at Filoli, a country estate with formal gardens about halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. After moving from my almost lifelong home in Humboldt County, where I edited and published newspapers for many years, we spent about nine years in Silicon Valley.
