I added another photo to my California Trail photos today. I took it a few days ago. Today, it's raining and there isn't as much snow in the lower elevations surrounding Carson City, but on the west side, the snow was mostly still like this when I was on my walk today.
The California Trail in Carson City stretches, in part, from South Saliman to Airport Road. It's a nice area to walk any time of year, even along I-580.
It's a beautiful area to walk any time of year, even along I-580. Just bring some headphones, tune out the busy interstate traffic and check out the birds in the reeds along the waterway.
