Silver Lake and Treasure Island in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This area is as beautiful in person. I'm not sure how much fire damage the area sustained, but I plan to check this spring or summer (in 2023). Right now, there is too much snow. The area offers a lot of recreational opportunities. It's accessible from Highway 88 in California.
