Today, Oct. 27, 2022, is, for Bahá’ís, the holy day celebrating the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh, 1817–1892. "Bahá’u’lláh was born in 1817 in Tehran, Iran and established the Bahá’í Faith whose principal teachings are the oneness of humanity, the oneness of religion and the oneness of God," according to the U.S. Baha'i community's website. "The appearance of Bahá’u’lláh has been likened to a spiritual springtime, destined to spread peace and unity around the globe." The aerial photo of the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh, Mansion of Bahjí and surrounding gardens at night was downloaded from the Bahá’í Media Bank and is copyrighted by the Bahá’í International Community.
