This rare 1937 Graham Cavalier Series 95 Sedan was photographed in the public museum at The Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar, Calif.
It was manufactured by Detroit-based Graham-Paige Motors Corp. Graham-Paige also built the coach in Detroit. It features a 6-cylinder L-head engine with 85 hp. When new, it cost $1,096 in the era’s monetary valuation.
“Graham won the Gilmore-Yosemite Economy Run on Jan. 7, 1937,” according to The Nethercutt Collection. “The win was the second year in a row for Graham. It boasted 23.9 mpg from Los Angeles to Yosemite. This original, unrestored car has only 28,555 miles since new.”
